Introducing
The Composer is a Flash music application. You
can handle it like a drum computer with a synced-up synthesizer.
In the near future, The Composer will be skinnable. This
means that you can design it with your own look and feel.
Currently we are working on a page where you can share your
tracks, upload your own samples and have some fun with other
people while creating.
We are really excited to listen to your future yummyyummy
tunes.
Getting started. Please spend some time
on reading the manual.
Hands on! The Composer is easy to use. We
spent nights and nights clearing up the interface to keep
the handling easy.
However, please be patient with us. The program is growing
with time. We are working our asses off to get more functions
running.
01. The Amplifier
The device for the audio output control. We love
this really breathtaking volumeknob - do you?
02. The Sequencer
The heart of the Composer. It syncs all the devices
to get your sounds and tracks fresh'n funky. Soon you will
be able to save your songs and share your music with others
around the globe. Yeah!
03. The Drumcomputer
Samplesbrowser
You need to load the samples before you can use them.
To do this, click on the folder icon to launch the samplebrowser.
The appearing window shows the samplebank.
You can prelisten to the samples by clicking the playbutton
or by doubleclicking the file. Once you find the one
you want, click the loadbutton . You can load
a few samples at a time by holding down the ctrl key.
Steps
Now you press the stepbuttons to set the samples.
To assign another loaded sample just click the small up or
down arrows, located next to the sample title field.
| Hint: Hold the left mouse
for volume and panning and doubleclick-hold to set the
start of the waveform(sound). Cool aight!? |
Steppatterns
You can use the same samples in any of the Patterns. To copy
one pattern to another; click and hold on the one you want
to copy and then use the Patternbanana to
drag'n drop the copy onto the other pattern.
04. The Synthsizer
Weird sounds come out of this Synth. It`s
not that easy to use, but nice in it's results. Set the notes
carefully and fool around with the individual volume,
pan, attack, decay,
release and waveform sliders.
By clicking into the stepfield you can set the notes and drag
them around till you get that fluffy sound. The higher the
note the higher the frequency. To delete a note just drag
it out of the step area. By adjusting the step length
switch you can play with the amount of steps in your
pattern.
| Hint: At the beginning switch
the waveforms. You will hear the difference. Don't give
up! |
